Red, Yellow, and Blue
This is one book in a series, written by Carolina Martin, M.Ed. of www.artonwheels.us and illustrated by Julia Garmon of www.jgarmon.com. We've created a series of stories to teach about the basic elements of art. In this case, the focus is on the element of color. In this book, the birds, "Red", "Yellow" and "Blue" are the first birds to arrive on the street and to form a neighborhood. On the color wheel, red, yellow and blue are called the Primary Colors, from which all other colors are made. They are situated near each other. We've created this book to read to our new family blessing, Carolina's Grandson and Julia's Nephew. His Mom calls him her "Baby Bird". You can purchase a copy of the book here or on our Etsy store!
Interactive Book Launching Tour!
We will be promoting our book through an interactive book launching tour this year! At each location you will have the opportunity to participate in a hands on art activity based on Red, Yellow, and Blue, chat with the creators of the book and have a chance to buy hand made as well as recycled merchandise!
